We are extremely happy with the news we recieved from the Southern Africa Cat Council (SACC) this morning.

Our black oriental girl - Bambi is now a Triple Supreme Champion.

We are so proud of all the achievements Bambi has as a National and Regional qualifier and now the highest certificate title available in our association...

Lola has left the building

Our beautiful Green-Eyed white oriental girl - Kriss Cross Little Lola Lopp of Minki Liu left for her new home Sunday past...

Her new mommy Nicole Earnshaw of Minki Liu Cattery (www.minkiliu.com) came all the way from Durban to come and fetch this feisty little white child.

We wish both Nicole and Lola all the best of luck in the show ring aswell as breeding. We will miss you Lolatjie but we know you are in a fantastic home!!!

We hope to visit Lola in Durban next year.

New Venture at Kriss Cross

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that Kriss Cross will also be breeding Peterbalds!!!!!!

We fell head over heels in love with this breed, from the first moment we met them.

A huge thank you again to Mariette Burger for allowing us to own our very first peterbalds as family members and as breeding girls.

We brought with us from Johannesburg 2 gorgeous red Peterbald girls.

In our Peterbald programme we will be working closely with:

New Stud at Kriss Cross

We have welcomed into our home a stunning new boy -

LaMASKA Red Baron bred by Mariette Burger of LaMASKA Cattery.

This red boy with no spots has just stolen our hearts with his wonderful colour, type and personality.

Baron has allready done really well on the show bench in Gauteng by getting multiple Best In Shows aswell as qualifying for Cat of The Year in the kitten category.

We hope that Baron continues his show success here in Cape Town - Baron will make his show debut in Cape Town only in 2012.

We would like to thank Mariette for allowing us to have this boy, we can never thank you enough.

Our white boy - Minki Liu Immanuel Taddeus of Kriss Cross - had a lovely lady visitor during the month of September.

Ch Kioko Hinata aka Dot(Red Bicolour bred and owned by Nicole Barrat of Kioko Cattery - www.kiokocattery.com) spent some time with our boy before she went home.

We will know in a few weeks whether Dot is expecting kittens. We wish Nicole all the best with this litter.

Dot has also qualified for the prestigious KZN Top Show Cat event which will take place this weekend. GOOD LUCK Dotteh and Nicole we will be holding all thumbs (paws).

Cape Top Cat Results

What a show and a wonderful way to end the 2010 show season.

Sp Ch MyEden's Bambina of Kriss Cross NQ RQ qualified for this prestigious event. Bambi along with along with 9 other entires competed for the title of Cape Top Cat Entire of the Year as well as Cape Top Cat.

We are so proud to announce that Bambi placed 3rd entire in this event!!!! She was one of only 2 local bred cats that qualified in the entire section.

Bambi has made us very proud during her show career winning many BIS qualifiers, 2 x Best Oriental Adult, 3 x Best Overall Oriental, The Camden Cup, 2 x Helen Trevis Trophy, WCF Best Adult Ring, SACC Cat of the Year 12th Entire as well as her cape Top Cat results.

Once again we would like to thank Tony & Ivone Perestrelo of My Eden Cattery for allowing us to be owned by this wonderful girl.

Bambi will now temporarily retire from the show bench to become a mommy :)

The event was held on the 7th August at Belmont Conference Centre, Rondebosch.

It is with great pleasure that we share with you that Bambi was placed 12th in the Entire section, making her also the higest placed locally bred Siamese/Oriental.

New family member

We would like to introduce a new family member, his name is Klaas he is a 4 year old blue eyed white domestic boy. Klaas could not be kept by his previous owner and getting him adopted was difficult as he is deaf. So Klaas will be living with us.

This boy has only spent a few days with us but allready he has crept into our hearts! Please watch this blog for more updates on Klaas.
